Privacy and cookies

Your trail stays on your device

Saved and visited artworks are stored in your browser so you can build a trail. They are not sent to us or to anyone else, and they don't sync between devices.

Analytics, only with your consent

If you choose Accept analytics, we use Google Analytics to count page visits and actions such as opening the map, viewing an artist or artwork, saving to your trail and following links to organisers, social media or directions. It sets cookies named _ga. Nothing loads from Google until you accept, and advertising features stay off.

We never send your name, email, precise geolocation (such as the “Near me” position) or the contents of your trail to Analytics. Web addresses are sent without any query string or # part. Like any website, Google can infer an approximate area, such as a town or region, from your connection's IP address.

You can change your mind at any time. Rejecting analytics stops tracking and removes its cookies. Cookie settings

The map

Map tiles load from a mapping provider when you open the map. "Near me" only uses your location after you ask, and it stays in your browser.
